By downloading or using PopTier, you agree to these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of PopTier (the app and website). By using the Service you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use PopTier.
2. Use of the Service
PopTier is intended for personal, non-commercial entertainment use. You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or exploit the Service
- Create fake accounts or manipulate leaderboards
- Share, sell, or transfer your account to another person
3. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. PopTier reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions
Premium subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed by Apple or Google, subject to their respective terms. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date in your device's account settings. We do not offer refunds for unused subscription periods except as required by law.
5. Virtual Currency (Pop Coins)
Pop Coins are virtual currency with no real-world monetary value. They cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred between accounts. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue Pop Coins at any time.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, code, and design in PopTier are the property of PopTier and its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission. Third-party content (movie/TV data) is provided under license from TMDB and Trakt.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
PopTier is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We are not responsible for third-party content accuracy (movie ratings, descriptions, etc.).
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PopTier shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data or virtual currency.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the applicable jurisdiction.
